Home Addition Project - Genoa City, Wisconsin Residence
Project Description: The customers had retired to Florida 15 years ago, but were returning to Wisconsin to be close to their children so they purchased an old hunting cabin. The existing home had a family room/bedroom with a kitchenette but had no functioning bathroom. They needed the new home to be livable year-round, yet also had specific budget restraints.
The Solution: Scholl Construction added a one car garage, a new deck, a full kitchen, a master bedroom, and a full bath. Our specific challenges included a total rebuild home addition project. During the course of the project, we installed new windows, doors, siding, insulation, heating, plumbing, electric, roof, and foundation. The total project time was 4 months from start to finish. As you can see by the photos below, it was quite a challenge, but a great home addition project to work on. The customers really love their new home. It is maintenance free, close to family, comfortable, and affordable.
